Enabled Play

Enabled Play is a platform and series of devices that make technology more accessible to anyone and as part of that we recognize that some of our users depend on Enabled Play in their everyday lives. We also recognize that many Assistive Technology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication Devices become a part of everyday life and when they are no longer supported, it greatly affects the lives of those who used them.

We are dedicated not only to building the best devices and platforms that we can, but to continuing to improve and support them. When you buy an Enabled Play device or use our platform, we want you to have the best experience you can, and if you aren’t, we want to make it better. You don’t just purchase a device for what it is now, but for what it can become for you. We continuously develop new features and enhancements, make them available to every device that we can via automatic updates, and iterate again until it is perfect for you.

While we will update and enhance our devices and platform as long as we can, should any unforeseeable situation arise that stops us from being able to officially support our users, platform or devices, we will do everything in our power to support the community in supporting the devices and platform. This includes actions such as open sourcing key areas of the platform and firmware, helping find new hardware, and supporting developers with our technical expertise.
