How to Factory Reset Your Enabled Play Controller

Whether you are lending your Enabled Play Controller to someone else, or just want to start over, this tutorial will walk through the process of reseting your device in a few simple steps.

Remove The Controller From Your Account

First, in the Enabled Play app follow these steps:

  1. Go to your device’s page by tapping it from your device tab
  2. Tap the “Edit” button
  3. Scroll to the bottom
  4. Tap the “Factory Reset and Unregister Device” button
  5. Confirm you want to reset your device

After this, the controller will be removed from your account. Now you just need to remove all your personal data from the controller so it can be setup for someone else to use.


Reset the Physical Controller

With the controller removed from your account, you can now reset the device by holding the hidden reset button for 5 seconds.

This button can be held by using a pin device from the specific slot in the top of the controller illustrated below. If this is too difficult to locate or press, you can take the top off your controller and press the button more easily.

The complete steps are:

  1. Plug your controller in and wait 1 minute
  2. Take the top off your controller
  3. Press and hold the button for at least 5 seconds
  4. Wait 2 minutes for the device to reset and leave it plugged in the entire time
  5. Now your Enabled Play Controller is ready for setting up again!
